Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

1. Acceptance

By using UltraCoach you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service description

UltraCoach is an AI-powered training analysis and coaching platform for runners, built for ultrarunners in particular. The service includes:

UltraCoach is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. It does not replace sound personal judgement, official race rules, or qualified human coaching.

3. Your data

You retain ownership of all activity, race, and profile data you upload or enter. We store it securely to provide the service. We do not sell your data to third parties. See the Privacy Policy for how it is processed, including which third-party services (AI, weather, Strava) it may pass through.

4. AI-generated content

Reports, coaching guidance, training plans, and race plans are generated automatically and may contain errors or miss context you have not logged. They are informational only and should not replace professional coaching or medical advice. Always use your own judgement when making training or racing decisions.

5. Event Planner pacing and cut-off estimates

Pacing plans, checkpoint arrival times, and cut-off margins in the Event Planner are mathematical projections based on the route, terrain, and pacing data you provide, plus your own training history. They are estimates, not guarantees — real conditions (weather, terrain surprises, fatigue, aid station delays) can and do differ from any model. Always confirm official cut-off times with the race organiser and make your own real-time judgement on race day.

6. LiveTrack and crew sharing

LiveTrack lets you generate a link that shares your live GPS position with anyone who has it, for the duration of a tracking session — no account or login is required to view it. You control who receives that link and are responsible for that decision. GPS tracking depends on your device's connectivity and battery, and can have gaps or delays; your crew should not rely on LiveTrack as the sole means of monitoring your safety during a race.

7. Third-party integrations

Some features rely on third-party services: AI reports and coaching text are generated by a third-party large language model provider; race weather context comes from Open-Meteo; and if you choose to connect Strava, activity data is synced from your Strava account under Strava's own terms. See the Privacy Policy for details on what each of these receives.

8. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any connected mobile app session. Do not share your credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

9. Availability

UltraCoach is under active development and currently free to use while in beta. We aim to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

UltraCoach is provided as-is. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the service, including reliance on AI-generated reports or coaching guidance, Event Planner pacing/cut-off estimates, or LiveTrack position sharing. Racing, especially ultra-distance racing, carries inherent risk that no software can eliminate.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
